Voting for your favorite Dr. Seuss Book

I thought it would be fun if the children, parents and readers could vote for their favorite Dr. Seuss books. Everyone was given three "Seuss sticks" to put in paper bags hanging below the Seuss titles from the Pop-Up book and a few others. Some people put all their Seuss sticks in the same bag and others spread theirs out among three titles. In the end we had a winner.

The winner was "Green Eggs and Ham".

Nancy made the neat labels for the voting bags.

The voting was a fun part of the celebration
and everyone who voted
received a Dr. Seuss sticker.

Green Eggs and Ham

More guest readers, parents and children voted for "Green Eggs and Ham" as their favorite book than any other Dr. Seuss book.

Vanessa Watson, Media person from West Smithfield Elementary School shared a portion of "The Cat in the Hat" from the lovely Pop-Up book. What a natural talent Mrs. Watson is and a joy to listeners.

Finding Magic Tree House Books

I always try to have a little quiz for scouts who go on my tour at the library. These scouts were able to locate the Magic Tree House Books that interested them.
