while on break from her studies at the N.C. State School of Veterinary Science.

Mrs. Johnson's Classroom on Read In Day

Bubba and Trixie by Lisa Campbell Ernst is
one of my favorite books to share
with Children.

Mrs. Johnson's students were very good
listeners and I loved their hats.

It is always fun to visit Wilson's Mills Elementary School
to read books to the students.

Read In Day at Wilson's Mills was
fun for me and I hope the
books I read to the
children will be remembered
for days to come.

Thank you Wilson's Mills Elementary for
allowing me to visit your school
and read to some of your
students.

Read In Day with Mrs. Culpepper's classroom

The schedule was pretty tight so I just read one
book with Mrs. Culpepper's classroom.

Mrs. Murphy's classroom at Wilson's Mills

Mrs. Murphy's classroom listened to the
story of Olivia by Ian Falconer and
The Honeybee and the Robber by Eric Carle.

I did a quick overview of Bubba and Trixie
by Lisa Campbell Ernst.

Reading in Mrs. Batten's Classroom

Mrs. Batten's students enjoyed the book
Bubba and Trixie by Lisa Campbell Ernst.

The story of a caterpillar and a ladybug who
become friends and help each other.

Wilson's Mills Elementary Read In Day

Wilson's Mills Elementary School
had their annual Read In Day
on Friday May 1, 2009.

It was my pleasure to read books to
four classrooms at Wilson's Mills.

Library Staff at Work

Garland Guffey is a shelver at the Library
here he is working on a cart of books in the
Children's Department.

Good job Garland, keep up the good work!

Brenda Burton and Joanne Tart
working at the Circulations Desk during
the lunch hour. These ladies stay busy
helping people. Joanne normally works in processing
but she helps out with lunches every week.

A secret that you might not know about
Joanne is that she is an excellent quilter.
